Their journey to Evandale, Tasmania, was driven by a shared love for historic charm, meaningful travel experiences, and the slower pace of country life.
Andrea grew up on the North-West Coast of Tasmania and always felt a deep connection to the island’s rich history and stunning landscapes. After years spent away, the call of home and the opportunity to run Arendon Cottage brought her back to Tasmania and to Evandale. Alexander, a baker by trade, embraced the move as a chance to create something special—a welcoming retreat where guests could experience the same sense of peace and belonging that drew them here.
