A tour of the Tamar River is a great way to spend an hour or two or a full day. Tamar River Cruises have several tours, one is sure to fit your time frame.

About an hour away the central highland lakes have some world-renowned trout fishing spots as well as the historic power station at Waddamana and some spectacular mountain scenery.
Deloraine & Mole Creek
Just a short drive to see spectacular caves, while there visit the Trowunna wildlife park and the Honey Farm at nearby Chudley
All within half an hours driving time, you can visit many of Tasmania’s best-preserved historic homes.
